At the time of production, the edges are fitted to the boards, although it is valid for users to grind them to their liking to have more grip in the snow. These same edges are prone to rust or wear after some use, and depending on care, in that case, they can be sharpened with special tools.
IMPORTANT: do not store wet equipment; it must be completely dry and waxed at storage time.

Manufacturers recommend edge angles of 2° relative to the side edge and 1° relative to the lower side edge. In addition to sharpening the edges, the tip and tail should be detuned using a rubber stone to prevent them from catching.
